Who is responsible for your data
N.M. Commerce, trading as Lior & Maison, is the controller of your personal data. Our details are at the bottom of this page.
What we collect
- When you visit our website: your IP address, device and browser details, and information about how you use the website, including through cookies.
- When you place an order: your name, email address, billing and delivery address, telephone number and order details. Payments are handled by our payment processors; we do not store full card details.
- When you create an account: your login details and order history.
- When you contact us: your name, email address and anything you share in your message.
We need your name, email address, delivery address and payment details to process an order. Without them we cannot deliver your order.
Why we use your data
- To process and deliver your order, handle payments and returns, and send order and shipping updates (performance of a contract).
- To answer your questions and provide customer service (performance of a contract or legitimate interest).
- To run, secure and improve our website, analyze how it is used and prevent fraud (legitimate interest).
- To send marketing emails and show personalized advertising (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
- To meet legal obligations, such as keeping tax records (legal obligation).
Who receives your data
We share personal data only as far as needed with:
- Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders;
- payment processors, such as PayPal and Shopify Payments;
- our suppliers and shipping carriers, to deliver your order;
- service providers for customer service, order tracking, email marketing, analytics and advertising;
- authorities, advisers and insurers, where the law requires it or it is needed to protect our rights;
- a buyer or successor, if our business is sold or reorganized.
We do not sell your personal data for money.
International transfers
Some of these parties are based outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax law requires, which in the Netherlands is generally seven years.

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the website, remember your preferences, measure use and support advertising. Where consent is required, we ask for it through our cookie notice, and you can change your choice at any time.
Marketing
We only send marketing emails if you signed up for them or if the law otherwise allows it. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to stop them.

To use these rights, email us. We will not treat you differently for doing so. We may need to verify your identity first.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you may also complain to your local data protection authority. In the Netherlands, that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Security and children
We take appropriate measures to protect your personal data. This website is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
